Elisa Orzac Shoenberger is a writer in Chicago. She is the co-editor and co-founder of the new literary journal The Antelope, a journal of oral histories and mischief. She is the author of the poetry chapbook The Everleigh Poems: The Butterflies of the Second City (Prolific Press, 2018). She has previously published essays with Hello Giggles, iExplore, Love TV, Ozy, The Billfold, City Creatures Blog, The Reset, Sonderers, Rebellious Magazine, and Our Urban Times.​ She is a regular contributor to Book Riot. In her spare time, she travels the world, makes cheese, plays saxophone, and stiltdances.
